Dye Marking & Fiducial Placement: Enhance Your Visualization Experience

Lung lesions that are small, not readily visible, or are without a solid component are difficult to localize and remove with standard thoracoscopy. Being able to place fiducial markers in soft tissue for accurate tumor tracking during radiotherapy, inject dye adjacent to the pleura, and enhance visual locations of the lesion using minimally invasive video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) are keys to success. Our expert faculty will share their techniques and tips for optimal outcomes during these procedures.

Program Objectives:

  • Experience how to plan for and navigate to the target spheres using the Marker Placement Feature
  • Understand the required procedure steps and tools for dye marking
  • Learn recommended techniques needed throughout the procedure to achieve optimal outcomes
